How to Display a New Collection in Shopify: The Definitive Solution

It's the most common mistake in Shopify: you create a perfect collection with all your products, go to check your website and... it doesn't appear anywhere. Don't worry, it's not a technical error — Shopify simply doesn't add anything to the menu automatically.
Why Doesn't My Collection Appear in the Store?
Unlike other platforms, Shopify separates content creation from its display. Creating the collection only saves it in the internal database; you must explicitly tell it where you want it to show (Main Menu or Homepage) by editing Navigation or the Theme.

- In the Menu: So customers can navigate and always find it.

Method 1: Add to the Menu (Required)
1 Verify the Collection
First, make sure your collection exists and is "Active." Go to Products > Collections and confirm it has assigned products and a cover image (important for design).
2 Edit Navigation
Go to Online Store > Navigation.
Select the menu you want to edit (usually "Main Menu"). Click "Add menu item," type the name customers will see, and in the link search for Collections > Your New Collection.
Method 2: Add to the Homepage (Visual)

Go to Online Store > Customize.
In the left sidebar, click "Add section" and search for "Featured Collection" or "Collection list." Once the section is added, click on it and select your new collection. Done! It will now appear with its products or cover photo on your homepage.
